Fair Use Policy
Ensuring fair resource allocation for stable service for all clients
What is this?
Fair Use Policy applies to all clients. The goal is to ensure fair resource distribution and service stability. We emphasize that this concerns shared resources (network channels, disk subsystem, CPU).
🎯 Resource Limitations
CPU Usage
- ✓Normal load: up to 80% during short periods
- ⚠Warning: constant 90%+ load for more than 1 hour
- ✗Violation: 100% load for more than 6 consecutive hours
Memory Usage
- ✓Normal usage: up to 90% of allocated RAM
- ⚠Warning: 10-20% temporary overflow
- ✗Violation: systematic limit violations
Disk I/O Subsystem
- ✓Shared SSD/NVMe infrastructure
- ⚠Short-term bursts are acceptable
- ✗Systematic IOPS overload → throttling or migration
Network and Traffic
- ✓Shared 10 Gbps channel, up to 700 Mbps per VM, bursts up to 10 Gbps
- ⚠Normal usage: 20-30 TB/month
- ✗Systematic traffic excess or holding max speed
Processes and Connections
- ✓Reasonable number of processes for tasks
- ⚠Large number of processes (monitoring)
- ✗Processes interfering with other clients
Network Connections
- ✓Regular web applications and services
- ⚠High number of simultaneous connections
- ✗DDoS, flooding, connection abuse
🚫 Prohibited Activities
Cryptocurrency Mining
vCPU dedicated within VM, but physically distributed by hypervisor
Spam and Mass Mailings
Sending unwanted emails, SMS, mass notifications
DDoS Attacks and Flooding
Attacks on third-party resources or infrastructure overload
Malware
Hosting, distributing viruses, trojans, backdoors
Open Proxies (unprotected)
Unprotected proxy servers accessible to third parties
Aggressive Scraping
Intensive data collection overloading target websites
Gaming Servers (resource-intensive)
High-load gaming servers without coordination
Adult Content (law-violating)
Content prohibited in server jurisdiction
📊 Monitoring and Control
Monitoring Methods
- 📈24/7 automated resource usage monitoring
- 📈Real-time alerts when limits are exceeded
- 📈Weekly resource consumption reports
- 📈Usage pattern and load trend analysis
⚠️ Warning
Email notification about violation with recommendations
⏸️ Resource Throttling
Temporary performance reduction until issue resolution
🚫 Suspension
Temporary blocking for serious or repeated violations

✅ Acceptable Usage
- • Website with 1000 visitors/day, short-term CPU spikes
- • Database with moderate load, 15 TB traffic/month
- • API service with 10K requests/hour, optimized code
❌ Policy Violations
- • Constant 100% CPU load for mining
- • 50 TB traffic from scraping bots in one week
- • 1000+ simultaneous connections for DDoS attacks
